Kidscape: Design, Fabrication, and Installation Services

The Johnson County Museum (JCPRD) is seeking qualified firms to design, fabricate, and install a phased refresh of its KidScape interactive children’s exhibit. The work will be delivered in three phases, updating selected environments to better integrate Johnson County history, improve visitor experience, and meet operational needs. Firms must be able to provide required bonds as the prime contractor, and must submit a complete proposal by the August 31 deadline. An optional site visit is scheduled for August 26, 2026. • Scope: Exhibit design, custom fabrication, and on‑site installation for a children’s museum. • Phased approach: Three distinct phases covering different exhibit areas. • Requirements: Prime contractor must hold performance and payment bonds; subcontractor bonds are not acceptable. • Submission: Full proposal due 8/31/2026 (CT), questions due 8/27/2026. • Evaluation: Based on qualifications, design concepts, cost, and ability to meet schedule. • Contact: Natalia Fairchild (Finance), Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
