Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified firm to provide a multi‑year environmental‑services contract for the Flemington Landfill Brownfields Property (now nCino Sports Park). The contractor will be responsible for ongoing monitoring, quarterly operation and maintenance screening, annual irrigation‑well sampling, regulatory reporting to NCDEQ, assistance with land‑use restriction compliance, and emergency response to methane‑system alarms, with additional permit‑compliance tasks as required. The award will be based on qualifications, not price, and the contract runs for three years with an option to extend two more years.
• Quarterly operation, maintenance, and monitoring of site systems
• Annual well‑sampling, laboratory analysis, and reporting to NCDEQ Brownfields Section
• Support for annual land‑use restriction compliance and rapid response to methane‑alarm events
• Management of any additional permit‑compliance duties mandated by the Authority Having Jurisdiction
