Steel Road Plates

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking vendors to supply steel road plates of various sizes for use in construction and related work. The road plates must meet specific requirements, including being made of structural-grade carbon steel, having a non-skid surface, and being suitable for heavy vehicular traffic loads. The City is looking to procure a total of 12 road plates in three different sizes. Vendors must submit their quotes electronically, including their company name, address, phone number, contact name and title, and contact email. The quotes must be valid for a 60-day period, and the City reserves the right to go with the lowest cost in the event of any discrepancies. • The road plates must be in new, unused condition, free from defects, cracks or surface irregularities. • Each road plate must have a thickness of one inch, a center one and one quarter inch treaded tap for a lifting pin, and one-inch hole for road pins at each corner. • The road plates must have a non-skid surface with welded hard facing. • The City is looking to procure 8 road plates in 4ft x 8ft size, 2 road plates in 5ft x 10ft size, and 2 road plates in 6ft x 12ft size.
