Presolicitation Notice - WAPA DSW Elden Mountain Communications Site Renovation

The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, material, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary to accomplish the renovation of the Elden Mountain Communications Site. The project includes constructing a GFE communication tower and foundations, installing a GFE Unity Power Battery Backup System, providing a 1,000-gallon propane tank and supply line, and completing interior remodeling of the communications building. The contractor shall also remove and dispose of existing communications site material in accordance with the construction contract and WAPA's Construction Standards. Key components of the work include: • Constructing a GFE communication tower and foundations • Installing a GFE Unity Power Battery Backup System • Providing a 1,000-gallon propane tank and supply line • Completing interior remodeling of the communications building • Removing and disposing of existing communications site material The project magnitude is estimated between $750,000 and $1,000,000, and primary construction efforts are anticipated to commence in April 2027.
