Description
The City of Rockford Water Division is seeking bids from qualified companies to provide a dump site for the disposal of materials generated from water main repairs, water service repairs, and other materials associated with the maintenance and operation of the municipal water system. The scope of work includes the delivery and dumping of excavated materials and related debris by Water Division employees utilizing 10 cubic yard dump trucks. The contract period shall be from the date of award through September 30, 2027, with possible extensions of up to 4 additional years.

• The bidder must have the proper licenses, permits, and certifications to operate a disposal site.
• The bidder must have a disposal site with adequate capacity to receive disposal materials and provide safe and reasonable access for City vehicles.
• The evaluation team will evaluate bids based on total bid price and the ability of the bidder to comply with specifications.
• The City reserves the right to award one or more contracts on the bid submitted, as deemed most advantageous to the City.
• Utilization of awarded disposal sites shall be at the sole discretion of the City of Rockford Water Division and its operational need.
