Description
The US Air Force is seeking a 2-axis vertical milling machine to meet manual milling requirements. The machine should have a digital DRO and meet specific power requirements. The scope of work includes delivery, installation, and testing, but no training is required. The machine should have an x-Axis of 34”, y-Axis of 12”, z-Axis of 5”, knee travel of 14-1/2”, and ram travel of 13-3/8”. The spindle taper should be R8 and the RPM range should be 60-4,200.
