Description

The City of Nashua is seeking proposals from qualified property owners to utilize building space for the operation of a homeless drop-in resource center. The space should be between 3,000 and 6,000 square feet on one level, and the lease term will begin on January 1, 2026, and may be extended annually. The resource center will serve as a safe space for individuals experiencing homelessness to access services and stay indoors during the day. The City will provide staff to operate the center, and the selected vendor will be responsible for providing the space and ensuring it meets certain requirements, including being ADA accessible and having a valid Certificate of Occupancy. • The space must be available for 24/7/365 usage, with a preference for properties that allow for this. • The vendor must provide provisions for trash pick-up, 24-hour emergency contact, and accessible restroom facilities. • The City will be responsible for providing snacks, coffee, and related supplies, as well as janitorial supplies and cleaning the space during use. • The vendor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and the New Hampshire Right-to-Know Law. • The vendor must also comply with the City's non-discrimination policies and provide a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals.
