Fleet Metal Shade Structure

The City of Laredo is seeking bids for the construction of a 19 ft height Pre-Engineering Metal Shade Structure of 80ft x 100ft with a 5 ft perimeter siding, gutters, downspouts, and concrete splash pads at the City of Laredo Fleet Department. The project includes the installation of LED lighting and wire mesh to prevent migration of birds. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, labor, superintendence, and all other services and appurtenances required for the project. The contract time for the project is 60 working days. • The project requires a pre-engineered metal building with a clear span and tapered column. • The building must meet the International Building Code of the latest edition adopted. • The contractor must obtain a building permit and ensure that all work is done in accordance with the plans and specifications. • The contractor must also ensure that all materials and equipment are installed and tested in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and the plans and specifications. • The project includes electrical and lighting requirements, which must be installed and approved by the Building Department. • The contractor is responsible for meeting all requirements for ADA accessibility and requesting utility lines location.
