Description
The City of Port Arthur is seeking a consultant to perform environmental reviews for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships programs, as well as local, private, and public funded projects and activities. The consultant will be required to provide an environmental review per HUD 24 CFR Part 58, including a city-wide review and reviews of specific project areas. The consultant will also be required to assist the City of Port Arthur with agency consultation, permit requirements, and public comments. The contract will be for one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.
• The consultant must have experience with HUD requirements and environmental reviews.
• The consultant must be able to perform the following tasks: provide environmental reviews, assist with agency consultation, obtain permit requirements, and respond to public comments.
• The consultant must have a satisfactory record of performance and integrity.
• The consultant must be able to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
