Description
The Chelsea Housing Authority is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide lateral sewer line maintenance, hydro-jetting, and inspection services at seven CHA developments. The contractor will be responsible for performing quarterly hydro-jetting, routine maintenance, and video inspection services. The contract term is for one year, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year periods. The contractor must have the necessary licenses, permits, and certifications to perform the work.
• The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the services.
• The contractor must have experience in performing similar work.
• The contractor must have the necessary insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and employer's liability.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
• The contractor must provide a written report with findings, including video footage, within five business days of each video inspection.
• The contractor must respond to emergency sewer back-up calls within four hours of notification.
