Main Street Reconstruction

The City of Osakis is seeking qualified contractors to perform a full reconstruction of Main Street, including pavement removal, excavation, base aggregate placement, asphalt wearing courses, sewer and water utilities installation, and curb‑and‑gutter work. The scope covers roughly 11,570 square yards of bituminous pavement removal, 2,980 cubic yards of common excavation, 2,840 cubic yards of Class 5 aggregate base, multiple tons of asphalt mixes, and installation of new sewer, water, and concrete curb work. Bids must be submitted electronically via QuestCDN vBid by May 14, 2026, with an online opening scheduled for May 15, 2026. • Remove existing bituminous pavement (≈ 11,570 SY) • Perform excavation and place aggregate base (≈ 2,980 CY excavation, 2,840 CY aggregate) • Install asphalt wearing courses (≈ 2,260 TON of mix) • Install new sewer (1,230 LF 12” RC) and water (1,210 LF 6” PVC) utilities • Construct concrete curbs and gutters (≈ 2,840 LF)
