Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed priced modification to Beckman Coulter, Inc. for the procurement of additional chemistry for CPRR tests for the Dallas Laboratory. The increased chemistry will include various panels for prostate testing.
• The modification is for the VA North Texas Healthcare System, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service.
• The items to be procured include ACCESS Hybritech free PSA, Access Hybritech free PSA Calibrator, Access Hybritech free PSA Quality Control, Access Hybritech p2PSA, and others.
• The modification will be made by a pricing agreement with Beckman Coulter, based on pricing from previous contracts and VA NAC FSS schedule pricing.
• The requesting activity states that the items need to be added to the BPA due to new VA initiatives for prostate health.
