Description
The Community Investment Tax Credit Program is designed to enable local residents and stakeholders to work with community development corporations to improve economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income households. The program provides tax credits to community development corporations, which can then provide credits to donors in exchange for qualified investments. The program has $15,000,000 available for credit allocations in 2026. Eligible applicants include community development corporations and community support organizations. Applications must include a community investment plan or capacity building proposal, and must demonstrate adequate progress in achieving plan goals and utilizing past credit awards.
