Description
The City of Delano is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the supply and delivery of two Crime Prevention Vehicles. The vehicles will be unmarked and assigned to the Crime Prevention Team for intelligence-based crime prevention, community engagement, and attendance at community meetings and events. The RFP is open to all qualified vendors, and the deadline for submission is March 12, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal.
• The vehicles must meet specific criteria, including being new, mid-size SUVs or sedans/crossovers, unmarked, and available for general use.
• The vehicles must have advanced safety technologies, ample storage, and fuel efficiency.
• The vendor must provide a warranty package with a minimum 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.
• The City will evaluate proposals based on factors such as price, terms, delivery, and prior performance.
• The final award shall be contingent upon the selected vendor accepting all terms and conditions listed in the RFP.
