The Miami‑Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department is seeking a qualified General Building Contractor with Glass/Glazing capability to replace all exterior aluminum impact‑resistant windows and doors on the Country Club of Miami clubhouse and adjacent cart‑storage buildings. The contractor must obtain all permits, handle demolition of existing units, install new heavy‑gauge aluminum framing, impact‑rated glazing, and associated hardware, and complete all related finish work, documentation, and close‑out requirements. • Remove existing windows, doors, shutters, and wood bucks; install new NOA‑approved aluminum impact windows and storefront doors with specified glass thicknesses and hardware (panic devices, closers, ADA thresholds). • Provide full permitting, inspections, utility relocations, temporary utilities, safety barriers, and required warranties (minimum one‑year labor). • Deliver shop drawings, product approvals, as‑built sets, and a complete close‑out package; adhere to a 180‑day construction schedule with liquidated damages of $250 per day for late completion.
