Grinding of Wood, Stumps, Brush and Debris Piles 2026

The Town of New Milford is soliciting competitive bids from qualified firms for the grinding of the accumulated wood, stumps, brush, and debris piles located at the cul-de-sac of 12 Scovill Street, New Milford, CT. The scope of work includes chipping/pulverizing all accumulated brush, trees, logs, stumps, and other wood products, removing all chipped/pulverized material from the worksite, and scraping off the work area of any remaining debris. The project must be completed by September 15, 2026. • The bidder must provide all labor, services, equipment, tools, and materials required to complete the project. • The bidder must remove all chipped/pulverized material from the worksite. • The bidder must scrape off the work area of any remaining debris upon completion of the grinding. • The bidder must complete the project by September 15, 2026. • The bidder must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, codes, and orders. • The bidder must provide a certificate of insurance naming the Town as additional insured.
