Description
The City of Tracy is seeking a qualified engineering consulting firm to develop full Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for the I‑580/Corral Hollow Road Interchange, a major freeway‑to‑local road conversion. The scope includes surveying, initial site assessment, geotechnical investigations, detailed design (30 %‑95 %‑100 % design phases), right‑of‑way acquisition, construction‑bid support, and post‑design construction‑phase services. The firm must provide a comprehensive design package that meets Caltrans, FHWA, and City standards, and must be able to respond to contractor RFIs, shop‑drawing reviews, and change‑order assistance during construction at no additional cost to the City.
• Deliver a complete PS&E set (plans, specs, cost estimates) for a diverging‑diamond interchange conversion.
• Perform geotechnical, environmental, and right‑of‑way engineering, and coordinate with Caltrans, County, and utility agencies.
• Provide design‑support services during construction, including RFI response within five calendar days and shop‑drawing review.
