Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, via the U.S. Government Publishing Office, is seeking a vendor to produce 1,600 magnetic “stoplight” tools (4 × 6 in.) – 800 of each of two clinical versions (Heart Failure and COPD). The magnets must be printed on 25‑30 mil thick white magnetic material, with full‑color (four‑color process) artwork, 0.25 in. bleed, and trimmed to final size. All work must be performed in‑house (no subcontracting), including pre‑flight, imaging, proof production, packaging, and shipping. Delivery is FOB destination to the Martinsburg VA Medical Center by 12 June 2026. The contractor must submit a press‑quality PDF proof by 12 May 2026, provide a same‑day shipping notice, and furnish a W‑9 before payment. • Quantity: 1,600 magnetic signs (800 per version). • Material: 25‑30 mil white magnetic substrate, 4‑color printing, full bleed. • No subcontracting – vendor must have all capabilities internally (design, printing, finishing, shipping). • Tight schedule: proof due 12 May, material pickup 16 May, final delivery 12 June. • Mandatory compliance items: W‑9, same‑day shipping notice, and provision of shipping documentation.

Budget estimate

$8,000 – $16,000

Assuming a unit cost of $5‑$10 for a 4×6 in. magnetic sign (material, four‑color printing, trimming, packaging, and shipping), the total contract value would likely fall between $8,000 and $16,000. The low estimate reflects minimal material cost and economies of scale; the high estimate accounts for higher ink usage, tighter turnaround, and premium magnetic substrate.
