Snapfinger Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase 3A Construction Project

The DeKalb County Government is seeking bids for the construction of the Snapfinger Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase 3A. The project includes the construction of a new 160 million gallon per day influent pump station, improvements to the existing sludge thickening system, refurbishment of the recently decommissioned aerated grit facility, and conversion of recently decommissioned process tanks into additional wet weather equalization storage. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and all work required to complete the project. • The project requires a licensed General Contractor with experience in water treatment or wastewater treatment facility construction. • The contractor must provide a bid guarantee in an amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount. • The contract will be an "Indefinite Quantity" type with County requirements to be satisfied on an "as ordered" basis. • The contractor must comply with the DeKalb County LSBE Ordinance and the First Source Jobs Ordinance.
