McDowell Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Clarifier & Pumping Station

The City of Charlotte is seeking a contractor to rehabilitate the McDowell Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant’s primary clarifier and influent pumping station. The scope includes demolition and disposal of the existing Primary Clarifier No. 5 mechanism, structural repairs, replacement of exposed piping and valves, upgrades to chemical feed dosing points, slide and sluice gate components, and replacement of grit and stainless‑steel air piping at the influent pump station. Additional work involves installing a new owner‑procured clarifier mechanism and replacing slide gate seals, actuators, and stems. The project requires the vendor to carry specific insurance coverages and provide bid, payment, and performance bonds.
