Description
The Saline County Library is seeking a qualified contractor to replace flooring throughout its main facility and to provide moving services for library collections and furniture during the renovation. Bidders must submit detailed, itemized cost proposals for each work segment, a project timeline, proof of insurance, required licenses, and references from similar projects. Site visits are offered on three consecutive days, and all proposals are due by the end of March.
• Replace existing carpet with three flooring types (interface carpet tiles, broadloom carpet for stairs, luxury vinyl tile for staff and public areas).
• Provide full removal, disposal, slab preparation, and installation, including all labor and materials.
• Relocate all library furniture, shelving, and stacks to allow work and then return items to original locations after completion.
• Submit separate itemized cost breakdowns for flooring and moving services, along with a schedule, insurance, licenses, and references.
