Civilian Armored Vehicle Manufacturers

This Sources Sought Notice seeks U.S.-based vendors that can design, fabricate, and deliver fully armored civilian vehicles, performing all armoring work in United States facilities. The eventual contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a one‑year base period and up to nine twelve‑month option periods, allowing the government to order vehicles as needs arise. Respondents must provide detailed company, capability, and pricing information, including past performance, manufacturing capacity, security clearances, and warranty support for overseas State Department posts. • Must armor passenger vehicles in‑house (no brokers) and comply with U.S. sanctions/export‑control rules. • Provide capability statements (≤20 pages) covering 10‑year armoring experience, ballistic protection levels, production capacity, lead times, surge capacity, and bonding capability. • Respond by 11:00 AM EST 23 Oct 2026 to the two listed State Department contacts.
