Description
The University of Houston‑Clear Lake is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide ongoing structured‑cabling services across its campuses. The work includes day‑to‑day installation of Cat‑6/Cat‑6a data lines, fiber‑optic cabling, wireless access point deployment, troubleshooting, demolition of legacy cable plants, testing, and related documentation. No minimum volume of work is guaranteed; the contractor will respond to individual work orders as they arise. The contract will be for an initial three‑year term with two optional one‑year extensions (maximum five years). A mandatory pre‑proposal meeting on 8 Sep 2026 is required for eligibility.
