Twisted Pair and Optical Fiber Cabling

Clemson University is seeking offers for a fixed price bid with multiple sources to provide services for network design, installation, and maintenance for twisted pair copper cabling installation and optical fiber cabling installation. The scope of work includes the design, installation, termination, and testing of telecommunications wires and cables, as well as the removal of any existing wire necessary to meet building codes. The contractor must be a CommScope Netconnect Contractor and a Corning Cable Systems' LANscape Network of Preferred Installers (NPI) member. The contract will be awarded to all responsive and responsible bidders whose offer provides a pricing at or below the baseline pricing listed in the Scope of Work document. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must provide a Bill of Materials associated with each project to Clemson University. • The contractor must install all materials, apparatus, and devices to complete the cable installations. • The contractor must provide to the University all associated records which shall meet the standards as detailed in this document. • The contractor must maintain Clemson University’s facility in a neat and orderly manner during the installation of the communications cabling system.
