HVAC & Plumbing Insulation Services Contract

Clemson University is seeking to establish a fixed-price contract with multiple vendors to provide maintenance and repair services for insulation on HVAC and plumbing systems. The scope of work includes insulation repair and maintenance for various systems, including HVAC duct work, steam, chilled water, cold water, hot water, reheat, and perimeter heat systems piping/fittings/valves. The contractor will be responsible for providing staff, equipment, and materials to complete the work. The contract will be for a five-year term, and the effective date will be tentatively scheduled for November 2025. Some key aspects of the job include: • Insulation repair and maintenance for HVAC and plumbing systems • Work on interior building chilled and heating hot water piping, steam and condensate piping, and other systems • Use of specific materials and standards, such as Armaflex and Fiberglass • Compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations • Maintenance of Clemson University’s facility in a neat and orderly condition during the entire course of the project
