Description
The Alabama Department of Mental Health seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive preventive and emergency maintenance for the HVAC systems at the Taylor Hardin Secured Medical Facility in Tuscaloosa. The contract spans two years with optional one‑year extensions, requiring regular inspections, parts inventory, emergency response, and training for ADMH staff. The contractor must demonstrate at least five years of HVAC service experience, possess certified technicians, and meet extensive insurance and regulatory requirements.
• Full‑service preventive maintenance covering monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual tasks for dozens of AHUs, RTUs, VAV terminals, exhaust fans, and associated equipment.
• 1½‑hour maximum response for 24/7 emergency call‑outs, with all labor, materials, and consumables supplied at no extra charge.
