Alabama Department of Mental Health seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive, full‑service housekeeping—including daily custodial care, aseptic management, and staffing of a full‑time Director of Housekeeping—across three state‑owned mental‑health facilities in Tuscaloosa. The contract covers a total of 797,997 sq ft and requires adherence to strict infection‑control, Joint Commission, and CMS standards, as well as a robust quality‑control/ improvement (QC/I) program and security procedures. The award will be a three‑year base period with two optional one‑year extensions, and the contractor must meet extensive insurance, E‑Verify, and background‑screening requirements.
