Water: Timber Harvests at Currier Point, McDonald Sisters Lots

The Manchester Water Works is seeking bids for the harvest of timber from approximately 75 acres of land in the Town of Auburn and the City of Manchester, New Hampshire. The contractor will be responsible for cutting and removing marked trees, as well as restoring the site after harvest. The contract will be awarded to the bidder who offers the highest revenue proposal, qualifications, experience, and approach that best suits the needs of the Manchester Water Works. • The contract requires the contractor to have extensive experience in forest management and operations. • The contractor must provide a list of municipalities where they have worked within the past 18 months. • The contractor is responsible for all costs associated with the construction of a log landing area and for restoring the site after harvest. • The contract includes provisions for indemnification and insurance requirements. • The contractor must comply with all federal and state laws, as well as OSHA regulations. • The contract includes a performance bond and requires the contractor to guarantee payment to the Manchester Water Works for any products that go unpaid due to default or non-payment from the purchaser.
