STL District, St. Louis, Tower Grove Connector Phase 2

The Board of Public Service is seeking bids for the TOWER GROVE CONNECTOR PHASE 2, FEDERAL PROJECT NO. CMAQ-9901(689) in St. Louis, Missouri. The proposed work includes the installation of a bicycle track on Sarah Street, from Vandeventer Ave to Forest Park Parkway, along with improvements such as milling and overlay of the street, new sidewalk, street and pedestrian lighting, curb ramps, traffic signals, signs, and striping. • The project requires all labor to be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in the locality. • Businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids. • All bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List and provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program for their on-site employees. • A certified or cashier’s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal.
