Description
The City of Statesboro is seeking bids for roadway geometric improvements on Edwina Drive. The project includes clearing, excavating, layout and setting grade, concrete forming, concrete pouring, concrete pipe installation, grading and dressing of job site, asphalt paving, and traffic striping. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating work with the City of Statesboro to ensure access to properties impacted by project activities are adequately maintained. The contractor will also be responsible for any damage on these properties due to construction.
• The project will consist of re-aligning Edwina Drive to the center of the Right-of-Way (ROW) and improving stormwater infrastructure.
• The road currently has a surface treatment course of asphalt that is degraded, lane widths are substandard, and the cul-de-sac is not constructed.
• The contractor must have a State of Georgia Contractors License and must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations.
• The contractor must also provide proof of insurance and must maintain the insurance throughout the project.
• The project must be substantially complete within 90 consecutive calendar days, and punch list items for final acceptance will be allotted 30 days, for a total of 120 consecutive calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
