High Density Mineral Bond - Street Maintenance Project

The City of Laredo is seeking a contractor to apply a high-density mineral bond (HDMB) surface treatment to approximately 500,000 square yards of roadway surface within the city. The treatment aims to extend pavement life, enhance durability, and improve overall roadway performance. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, traffic control, and incidentals necessary to complete the application of HDMB seal in accordance with project specifications. Key points to consider: • The construction contract time for the project is 120 working days • A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on October 15, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. • Respondents are expected to inspect the site of the work and inform themselves regarding all local conditions • The contractor must comply with the Federal Labor Standards Provision, Davis Bacon Act, Equal Opportunity Clause, Wage Determination, and HUD and Urban Development Federal Requirements • The owner agrees to give Notice of Award of Contract to the successful respondent within 90 days of the bid opening
