Sustainable Demolition Utilizing Deconstruction of a Decommissioned U.S. Ground-Based Radar Facility

The United States Space Force is seeking information from qualified industry partners to execute the demolition of a decommissioned U.S. ground-based radar facility. The project includes the demolition of legacy one-story structures, outbuildings, and a 2-mile-long linear dipole array antenna, as well as the removal of all other ancillary site infrastructure. The demolition scope must include deconstruction or sustainable demolition, where high-value materials are disposed of as salvage for the demolition work, and most other non-salvageable materials are recycled. • The project is located in the Continental United States, specifically in the West South Central region. • The Government is looking for vendors with experience in demolition, deconstruction, and sustainable demolition. • Vendors are requested to provide information on their past performance, technical capability, and approach to deconstruction and sustainable demolition. • The Government encourages teaming and partnering, especially with small and small disadvantaged businesses.
