The City of Milwaukee, through Milwaukee County, is seeking bids to construct a new 10‑foot‑wide, ADA‑compliant access ramp connecting the Oak Leaf Trail at the intersection of N. Cambridge Avenue and E. Kenwood Boulevard. The scope includes grading, a soil‑nail retaining wall, reinforced soil slope, asphalt paving, concrete curb and sidewalk work, utility adjustments, erosion control, and site restoration. The project is federally funded under the Transportation Alternatives Program and must meet Buy‑America, EEO, and residency requirements. • Construct a 650‑ft reinforced soil slope with geogrid, geotextile, and erosion‑control mat. • Install a soil‑nail retaining wall (R‑40‑821) and ADA‑compliant curb ramp. • Perform extensive earthwork, asphalt removal and resurfacing, utility relocation, and final landscaping. • Provide bid bond (10 % of bid) and meet all Milwaukee County pre‑qualification, DBE, and residency documentation.
