Description
The U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan is seeking a brand new SUV vehicle. The vehicle must be a 2026 model year, fully boxed ladder-frame sport utility vehicle, with a specific non-hybrid turbocharged powertrain, and comply with the technical specifications provided. The contractor shall deliver the vehicle to the U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan within 45 days after the date of contract award.
• The vehicle must have a 2.4-liter turbocharged petrol 4-cylinder engine, with a minimum of 267 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque.
• The vehicle must have an 8-speed traditional automatic transmission.
• The vehicle must have a factory fuel tank capacity of at least 110 liters.
• The vehicle must have a certified fuel economy rating of approximately 10 km/L.
• The vehicle must have anti-lock disc brakes (ABS).
• The vehicle must have a full-time four-wheel drive system, with an electronically controlled two-speed transfer case.
• The vehicle must have a lockable center differential and a driver-selectable electronic locking rear differential.
• The vehicle must have a factory-installed electronic front stabilizer disconnect mechanism.
• The vehicle must have a minimum water-wading depth capacity of 700 mm.
• The vehicle must have a minimum unladen ground clearance of 210 mm to 220 mm.
• The vehicle must have a 3-row seating configuration, with a seating capacity for exactly 7 passengers.
• The vehicle must have a triple-projector LED headlamp setup, with LED daytime running lights (DRL).
• The vehicle must have a multi-view rear camera system, with off-road undercarriage/wheel viewing capability.
• The vehicle must have advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including pre-collision safety, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure alerts.
