16th Street & Grand Avenue Intersection Improvements

The City of West Des Moines is seeking bids for the 16th Street & Grand Avenue Intersection Improvements project. The project includes approximately 450 CY of Class 10 Excavation, 461 CY of Topsoil Onsite, 533 SY of Pavement Removal, and other miscellaneous work. The project is expected to commence within ten days of the written notice to proceed and shall be substantially completed by November 20, 2026. The final completion date is April 30, 2027. • The project requires the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements. • The contractor must provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The city reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all technicalities and/or all irregularities. • The bid security shall be made payable to the City of West Des Moines, Iowa, and not contain any conditions either in the body or as an endorsement thereon.
