Description

The City of Indianapolis is seeking a qualified organization to design and deliver an 8‑week, Friday‑and‑Saturday evening “Summer in the City 2026” violence‑prevention program for teens ages 15‑17. The vendor may act as fiscal agent, site manager, and/or program provider, and must supply a venue for up to 75 youth in a priority ZIP code, provide nightly meals, transportation, and a structured curriculum that includes activity blocks, a celebration segment, and wrap‑around support services. The contract will be reimbursement‑based, requiring the vendor to demonstrate financial capacity for at least 60 days of operations and to meet extensive insurance, safety, and reporting requirements. • Design and deliver a full curriculum (workforce, sports, arts, STEM, wellness) plus a nightly celebration block. • Provide on‑site meals, licensed transportation, and safe‑dismissal procedures (youth home by 11 PM). • Secure a venue in ZIP 46218, 46201, 46208, or 46222, and manage data tracking, referrals, and compliance (CPR/First‑Aid, insurance, MBE/WBE goals).

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

No specific budget is disclosed. Based on an 8‑week, twice‑weekly program serving up to 75 teens with staffing, meals, transportation, venue costs, insurance, and administrative overhead, a reasonable contract value would likely fall between $200,000 and $500,000. Larger vendors with extensive facilities could push the high end, while smaller nonprofits might operate near the low end.
