East Dunne Sewer Upsize Project

The City of Morgan Hill is seeking bids for the East Dunne Sewer Upsize Project, which involves the removal and replacement of approximately 1,700 linear feet of existing 8” sanitary sewer main with new 10” SDR-26 PVC sanitary sewer main along East Dunne Avenue from approximately 90 feet east of Condit Road to Peppertree Drive. The project requires the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fuel, tools, and transportation required to complete all work as shown on the Plans and Specifications. The estimated construction cost is $1,394,647, and the project must be fully completed within 90 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. • Removal of existing 8” sanitary sewer main and installation of new 10” SDR-26 PVC sanitary sewer main via open-trench method • Removal and replacement of sanitary sewer manholes as shown on the plans • Maintenance of sanitary sewer flows at all times for the project via temporary sewer bypass pumping system(s) and backup system(s) as required • Provision of a 2” grind and overlay of the lane in which work is to be completed • Provision of a Type II slurry seal on westbound side of East Dunne Avenue from raised median to existing curb • Restriping of existing roadway in kind • Completion of all other incidental work related to the above items
