F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter - Propulsion Initial Spares and Non-Annual Sustainment

The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office intends to award a contract to RTX Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, for the provision of F-135 depot lay-in material, initial spares, support for non-annual site and depot activation and hardware requirements, and new F-135 propulsion system sustainment requirements. The contract is anticipated to begin awarding in 2027. The scope of work includes providing F-135 propulsion system sustainment requirements, and RTX Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the F135 Propulsion System. • The contract is for the F-135 propulsion system sustainment requirements. • RTX Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines is the only source with the requisite technical expertise and experience. • The contract actions are anticipated to begin awarding in 2027. • The Government reserves the right to process this procurement action on a sole source basis.
