The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury is seeking qualified contractors to replace the existing timber Garrie Cut‑Off Bridge with a new cast‑in‑place concrete slab‑span bridge, including deep‑foundation prestressed concrete piles, approach slabs, drainage improvements, and revetment work. The project scope covers demolition, pile driving, concrete bridge construction, site grading, temporary traffic control, and associated utilities. Bids must be submitted electronically by the bid opening time, and a 5 % bid bond is required.
• Remove existing bridge and install a three‑span, 60‑ft concrete slab bridge with sixteen 16‑in. square prestressed concrete piles.
• Perform earthwork, drainage, scour protection, and revetment (grout‑filled articulated block mat) to meet Louisiana DOTD specifications.
• Provide all required permits (U.S. Army Corps Nationwide Permit 14) and comply with environmental, safety, and licensing requirements; construction must be completed within 176 calendar days.
