Description
The Charles George VA Medical Center is requesting a loading dock extension package, which includes a turnkey solution to provide and install a dock extension system with canopy, dock levelers, and access stairs. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide the loading dock extension. The scope of work includes a steel frame with open grate decking, anti-slip epoxy coating, 5-year structural warranty, anchored platform, dock levelers with 16 kip capacity, access stairs, safety handrails, canopy system with integrated lighting, modular, impact-resistant construction, dock bumpers, and automatic dock scissor lift system, all compliant with IBC/OSHA standards.
• The contractor must provide a capability statement, including a positive statement of intent to submit a quote as a prime contractor.
• The contractor must provide evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope.
• The contractor must provide past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers.
• The contractor must identify whether the firm falls into any socioeconomic categories.
