Description
The Brunswick County is soliciting sealed bids for the plumbing work for the Longwood Road Sewer Project. The project involves installing new building sewer plumbing from the residence to the County-installed grinder pump system and making the physical connection to the pump. The contractor shall disconnect and properly abandon the existing plumbing from the residence to the septic tank in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits and securing approvals from the County’s permitting departments.
• The project is expected to be completed within 150 days from the Notice to Proceed.
• The total contract amount will be based on the actual services performed and quantities of installations and connections completed.
• Payments will be based on the firm, fixed unit prices, as set forth in the Contractor’s submitted bid.
• The County does not guarantee any minimum or maximum quantity of work under this contract.
• A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET.
• Bidders are required to submit their questions and clarifications in writing by Tuesday, March 10, 2026, 5:00 PM ET.
