Description
The City of Long Beach is seeking a qualified plumbing contractor to provide comprehensive, as‑needed plumbing maintenance, repair, and emergency services for its facilities. The contract is a two‑year base term with up to three one‑year extensions, and the contractor must be a California‑licensed C‑36 plumbing contractor, registered with the DIR, and able to meet specified response‑time commitments. Work includes routine repairs, hydro‑jetting, video inspections, sewer line repairs (clay and cast‑iron), water‑line installations, and 24/7 emergency response, with detailed reporting and warranty requirements.
• Full‑service, on‑call plumbing including emergency response (2‑hour onsite for emergencies).
• Required licensing (C‑36), DIR registration, insurance, prevailing‑wage compliance, and equal‑benefits ordinance adherence.
• Payment on a per‑occurrence basis using hourly rates; no guaranteed minimum contract value.
