The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified plumbing contractor to provide on‑call plumbing services—including emergency response, routine repairs, inspections, installations, and preventive maintenance—across all City‑owned facilities. The contract is “on‑call,” with work issued via City work orders; there is no guaranteed minimum volume, but the contractor must meet strict response‑time requirements (2‑4 hours for emergencies, 24 hours for urgent, 3‑5 business days for routine). Pricing will be submitted as unit rates, hourly labor rates, equipment rates, and material mark‑ups, and must remain firm for 60 days. The initial term is one year, with the possibility of two additional one‑year extensions. The City requires comprehensive insurance, E‑Verify compliance (if ≥ 25 NC employees), and a full set of supporting documentation.
