Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking an on‑call electrical contractor to provide inspection, maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting services for its facilities on an as‑needed basis. The contract is a one‑year term with the option to renew twice, has no guaranteed minimum volume, and requires rapid response times (2‑4 hrs for emergencies, ≤ 24 hrs for urgent calls, 3‑5 business days for routine requests). The contractor must supply qualified personnel, commercial‑grade materials, a 365‑day workmanship warranty, and adhere to all applicable codes and insurance requirements.
• Provide 24 × 7 emergency response (2‑4 hr dispatch) and urgent/routine services.
• Perform a wide range of electrical work: panels, breakers, wiring, lighting upgrades, motor controls, surge protection, temporary power, and storm‑damage repairs.
• Submit fixed‑price unit rates, hourly labor rates, equipment rentals, and material mark‑ups; invoices paid within 30 days.
• Contract includes a one‑year term, renewable up to three years total, with 30‑day termination notice after the first year.
