The City of Wilmington is seeking an on‑call electrical contractor to provide inspection, maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting services for its municipal facilities on an as‑needed basis. The contractor must be able to respond within specified timeframes (2‑4 hours for emergencies, ≤ 24 hours for urgent calls, and 3‑5 business days for routine work) and will handle a broad range of electrical tasks, including panel work, lighting upgrades, motor‑control repairs, surge protection, and temporary power for events. The contract is a one‑year term with the option to renew twice, contains no guaranteed minimum volume, and requires a 365‑day workmanship warranty, compliance with NEC/OSHA, and comprehensive insurance.
