Description
The Mississippi State Department of Health is seeking quotes from qualified bidders to participate in a Reverse Auction for the purchase of four different types of car seats: Infant Car Seat, Convertible Car Seat, Combination/High Back Booster Seat, and Backless Booster Seat. The contract is expected to be around 1 year, with the possibility of a 2-year contract if approved by Senior leadership with MS State Department of Health. The successful bidder will be required to provide car seats that meet the specified requirements, including federal safety standards. The bidder must also provide tracking information for all orders, and inside delivery is included for all orders.
• The car seats must meet federal safety standards and have specific features such as belt-positioning guides, internal 5-point harness system, and adjustable harness heights.
• The bidder must provide a quote with the initial response, and valid quotes will be accepted until July 13, 2026, 10:00 AM CST.
• The reverse auction is scheduled to be held on July 21, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM CST and ending at 10:30 AM CST.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications.
