City of Lakeland Request for Proposals Engineering Services

The City of Lakeland is seeking engineering services for state and federally funded infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, road, and drainage infrastructure. The selected firm will provide initial consultation, funding assistance, preliminary engineering reports, final design, construction administration, and inspection and close-out services. The project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, and Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. The scope of services includes: • Initial consultation and evaluation • Funding assistance • Preliminary Engineering Reports (PER) • Final design • Construction administration • Inspection and close-out services The firm should have experience with state and federal grant-funded projects, including DCA grant programs and GEFA/USDA loan programs.
