New and Unused 3/4 Ton Regular Cab with 8Ft Utility Bed, 4WD Pickup

The County of Kern is seeking to purchase new and unused 3/4 ton regular cab pickups with 8ft utility beds and 4WD. The vehicles must meet specific specifications, including a 5.7L V8 gas engine, automatic 6-speed transmission, and 4WD with locking hubs and electronic locking rear axle. The utility body must have three 15" deep side cabinets on each side with two vertical doors and adjustable shelving, as well as a horizontal door over the wheel well. The vehicles must also have a heavy-duty skid plate package, power front and rear disc brakes, and a braking system with front and rear anti-lock. • The vehicles must have a minimum GVWR of 9,500 lbs and a wheelbase of 133" min. • The vehicles must have a heavy-duty cooling system with recovery and a battery with a minimum 600 CCA. • The vehicles must have power windows, power door locks with remote fob, and a tilt steering column. • The vehicles must have a factory-installed AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth and a next-generation driver and front-passenger airbag. • The vehicles must have a trailer brake controller and a frame-mounted receiver trailer hitch. • The vehicles must have a heavy-duty ladder rack with four cross bars and a vise mount attached to the rear bumper. The County is seeking quotes from vendors who can provide vehicles that meet these specifications.
