Eastern Avenue Widening and Signal Modification Project

The City of Davenport is soliciting qualified contractors to bid on the Eastern Avenue Widening and Signal Modification Project located south of the Eastern Avenue and 29th Street intersection. The scope includes widening the roadway to add a dedicated left‑turn lane and a separate northbound through lane, upgrading traffic signals with new controllers, wiring, and Iteris Vantage Vector video detection, and completing all associated civil works such as concrete pavement widening, sidewalk and curb‑ramp installation, driveway apron replacement, topsoil and sod restoration, pavement markings, and erosion control. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, surveying, utility coordination, traffic control, site protection, and final cleanup, with a contract completion deadline of 12/18/2026.
