Description
The County of Portage Wisconsin is seeking bids for the purchase of ready-mix concrete delivered to various Highway Department projects and job sites as needed. The contract will be for a period of one year with three one-year renewal options. The contractor must be able to provide concrete that meets the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) current Section 415, 416 & 501 Standard Specifications. The contractor must also be able to provide same-day delivery to job sites.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The contractor must be able to provide references of three firms to which similar products or services have been provided during the past three years.
• The contractor must be able to report on a semi-annual basis all products purchased against this contract.
• The contractor must be able to provide a Certificate of Insurance and maintain the minimum limits specified for the term of the contract.
